Sachs Scholarship

The Class of 1960 extends its congratulations to Rafil Kroll-Zaidi ’03, the 34th recipient of the Daniel M. Sachs Class of 1960 Graduating Scholarship. Rafil hails from Austin, Texas, and is a comparative literature major. As an award-winning photographer, among other talents, Rafil will use the scholarship to pursue studies in photographic technique at St. Martins College of Art and Design in London next year. This will be followed by an internship in motion picture production in India.

Rafil is also the co-founder of another innovation on the campus — The Princeton Dueling Society! The first series of duels (with paintballs) defending perceived impingement on the “honor” of several undergraduates was featured in the February 26th issue of PAW in “On the Campus,” which you may read (complete with pictures) here.

Our best wishes to Rafil in the coming year.
