We urge you to make your housing arrangements as soon as possible because there is a tremendous demand for accommodations at reunions. We have a full range of housing options for those who act promptly, but in most cases it is first come, first served. Coordinate your housing plans with your friends.
For the first two options below indicate your choice on the Registration Form and include full payment. There will be a refundable deposit for the room key and linens, collected when you sign in at the reunion. To facilitate refunding, the deposit should be in the form of a personal check that will be returned when the items are returned at the end of the reunion.
PRINCETON CAMPUS: The accommodations are Spartan, the price is right, and they are convenient. We expect to have 75 beds in or very near to Forbes College, our reunion headquarters. The charge is $75 per bed total (not per night).
PRINCETON THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY: The seminary is about a quarter mile from our reunion headquarters. We have 39 single rooms and the cost per room is $105 total (not per night).
AREA HOTELS/MOTELS: Attached is a list of hotels and motels in the area, primarily on Route 1. The hotels and motels on this list on Route 1 are the ones to which the university provides bus service during reunions. Our class has blocks of rooms reserved for the nights May 26 to May 28 at three of those on the list:
Aramark Harrison (previously Merrill Lynch). This is a conference center. We have reserved 20 rooms Thursday night and 25 Friday and Saturday, of which only 15 are double. Per night cost is $229 double and $209 single. Block will be held only until March 11, 2005.
Doral Forrestal. We have 40 rooms Thursday and 60 rooms Friday and Saturday at $205 per night. These will be held until April 10, 2005. Call Shawna Godfrey at (800) 222- 1131 to reserve.
Holiday Inn. We have 25 rooms at $199 per night. Will hold until April 1. A two night stay may be required.
If you make a reservation at any of these three, identify yourself as in the Princeton University Class of 1960 to get a room in the block. You are responsible for payment and cancellation procedures.
BED AND BREAKFAST: Accommodations are at homes in the Princeton vicinity. Call 609-924-3189 for details and application forms.
