Harvard Game, 25 October 2008

Predictions of torrential downpours limited attendance at the Harvard game on 25 October. Those who managed to make it enjoyed a pre-game lunch at Jadwin Gym, an exciting game between two well-matched teams in warm weather with only occasional sprinkles (lost, alas, in the last five minutes), and a post-game reception at Terrace Club. A total of 19 classmates and partners were seen somewhere or other: Jeff Beaver, Evan Bush and Mack Emmert, Philip Detjens, Mason and Susan Lowance, Clif, Carolyn, and Virginia ’10 Maloney, Rich McGlynn, David Pearce, Dick and Lin Peterson, Dave Rahr, Mike Southwell, Paul and Dorcas Taylor, and Dave and Peg Willard, along with Joan Sachs Shaw.

Kathy Deyo had promised to attend with Southwell, but the weather prediction convinced her (very sensibly) to stay home.
